Holding Patterns

Day 41... 23.8 to go (down 16 lbs)

Same as it ever was... I've now spent one full week at the same weight.  Not up, not down... just the same.  I had a long, hard look at last week today, and realized that I only had 2 workouts, and that's 3 down from my norm.  So perhpas I'm not actually plateau-ed as much as just not quite on my game.

Tomorrow is the end of the 6-week period I committed to for this change.  I'm going to keep going.  I feel healthier than I have in a long time, and even though I'm sure I'll be lucky to lose even a 1/2 lb a week moving forward, I have a great start.  :)

  1. Sounds like a little re-invigoration is needed, not easy to achieve. Post-initial success is a time when it is no longer all brand new so a motivation correction is in order. Just don't forget the "credit where credit is due" part of the equation: you are paying attention to the quality of what you are eating. This will yield long-term benefits. And you have in no way "fallen off the wagon". You surveyed the week and spotted a difference: fewer workouts. You are considering other tweaks. Changing up the program will startle your metabolism into motion once again. Betcha. xxxooo
